A downloadable game

This game was created for the AUX-JAM 2025. The theme of the jam was "Kreislauf". 
The Jam took place over 3 Days.

The game takes place on a "medievalish" island with a Lighthouse.
One day, strange voices can be heard, followed by eldritch tentacles spawning across the Map. Your fears have come true, he has awoken.

The game is played as a hybrid experience. The player starts on a PC map and explores various points of interest (POIs), collecting random cards related to the themes of those locations. For example, at the farmhouse the player might find items like apples or a pitchfork.

The player starts with 100 health and 100 sanity. Each round, the player can move three times to any visible tile, teleporting freely within the visible range. This can be repeated for as many rounds as desired, but starting from round 5, the player will begin to lose sanity each turn, representing the mental toll of staying too long away from the lighthouse. To survive, the player must eventually return. Once the player returns, the game transitions from a digital experience into a physical one (a printed card game played on the table)

There are different types of tiles on the map:

  • Field tile: has no effect

  • Corrupted field tile: causes sanity damage when entered and further damages health and sanity if the player ends their turn on it

  • Tavern: restores both health and sanity

  • Farmhouse: grants two farm-themed cards

  • Church: heals sanity and grants one church-themed card

  • Mine: grants two mining-themed cards

  • Forge: grants two forge-themed cards

  • Question mark tile: grants two wanderer-themed cards

Each card has five attributes:

  1. Damage dealt this turn

  2. Damage dealt next turn

  3. Sanity cost or gain upon playing the card

  4. Health restoration for the player

  5. A debuff that reduces the enemy's damage in the following round

At the beginning of each round, the player draws three cards. Two of these can be played without penalty, while playing the third costs ten sanity.


After the player's turn ends, the boss attacks. Its attacks grow stronger with each round, becoming more and more dangerous. The player wins by defeating the boss at the lighthouse, which can only be done after round 5. The game is lost if either the player's health or sanity drops to zero.
